Yo Maps Lights Up Zambia as “Vibes on Vibes” Album Arrives
Zambian superstar Yo Maps has officially released his highly anticipated new album, Vibes On Vibes, a sprawling 16-track project that showcases his growing international influence.
The album features an impressive roster of global collaborations, including “My Darling” with six international artists, the emotionally charged “It’s Over” with Makhadzi, the smooth “Touch Me” featuring Rotimi, “Moses” bringing Tanzanian energy with Harmonize, the “Charleh (Remix)” alongside Stonebwoy, and “Sanity” with Innos B adding his distinct flavor.
In addition to these global crossovers, Yo Maps remains deeply rooted in Zambia’s music scene by working with local heavyweights such as Frank Ro, Dizmo, Bobby East, Muzo Alphonso, and Digo.
The result is an album that feels distinctly different built with a unique energy that proves Yo Maps isn’t just releasing music, but actively exporting Zambian heat across borders.
Behind the boards, the dynamic production duo KingTec and C-Mark handled the majority of the album’s soundscape, while DJ Megi brought his signature wave to the track “Hello.”
As a bonus finish, the song “Miracle” produced by Jazzy Boy and C-Mark, then mixed and mastered by KingTec serves as the perfect cherry on top of this vibrant and ambitious project.
